Great fishing this weekend and multiple species on both trips! Fishing in San Pablo Bay and catching some bonus Halibut when the tides are favorable. Spring fishing in San Francisco Bay is going to be real good!
Sturgeon and Bass fishing is still good with some keepers over the weekend. We ran our first halibut trip of the year today on a lower tide and landed a nice 15lb fish!
A few great days this weekend on the water! Sunday we had 1 keeper sturgeon, 2 shakers, 1 keeper bass and 2 starry flounder for 3 folks! This is some of the best Sturgeon fishing in years!
Still biting and fantastic weather on Saturday! We had one 40lb keeper, 2 undersized shakers, and 12 released bass! Great fishing and weather all weekend!
After a rough weekend with bad weather, Deckhand Hunter got his first keeper!! Fat 54" Sturgeon in the bay! We also landed nice bass up to 10lbs! Bigger Bass are back and should be great fishing the next few weeks and weekends!
Sturgeon and bass fishing still going strong! Winter conditions are shaping up well for a really hot spring fishing season to come in the Bay Area!
Ho Ho Ho to all the good fishing Boys and Girls out there. Well I’ve been busy making big Bass catching wishes come true. We are having some great late year bass fishing on really nice sizes fish.........but only for the nice Boys and Girls.
Well it’s that time of year when we put the rockfish and halibut away, and start looking for Mr. Sturgeon. Both bays have been holding good numbers of fish. We are seeing Leopard Sharks in the South Bay, while San Pablo Bay is turning over with the recent rains. We bagged limits of Bass and our 1st Sturgeon of the winter. With the fresh water influx, the Sturgeon are on the move from the Delta, and it is shaping up for another good season.
